1. Main responsibilities: 

  • Build and lead a high performance team of motivated accountants and act as a sparring partner to support their growth and professional development 

  • Recruit future team members and create a challenging and attractive working environment 

  • Preparation of yearend financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP for purpose of statutory audit and sign-off by the Board of Management 

  • Managing monthly book closing process incl. fixed asset accounting, accruals and prepayments, special items such as leasing agreements, call options and other accounting entries 

  • Ensure financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and IFRS statutory reporting requirements 

  • Take responsibility to coordinate the year end external audit process, ensure in time closing and play a proactive role in managing statutory yearend audit 

  • Ensure close coordination with external advisors and internal and external auditors to ensure strong controls over financial reporting 

  • Manage monthly Bugatti Rimac Group consolidation process 

  • Analyze financial information and present financial status incl. timely preparation of meaningful accounting and statistical reports and financial statements (HNB, FINA) for executives and third parties 

  • Definition, communication and implementation of bookkeeping rules and regulatory requirements and act as a partner with executives and departments across the organization to raise awareness   

  • Manage implementation and maintenance of a system of internal controls (policies and procedures) 

  • Lead finance projects and support department projects with focus on accounting, regulatory reporting and in time adoption of new rules and regulations 

  • Be an ambassador of end-to-end process thinking and documentation 

 

  

2. Qualifications: 

  • University degree in Finance / Business Administration with focus on finance and accounting, or equivalent qualification 

  • IFRS and local GAAP proficiency 

  • > 10 years of professional experience in accounting, with thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and in-depth understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, local GAAP) within a company focused on production and product development 

  • Experience working for a multinational/ Big4 company and/ or relevant proven track record abroad 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of leadership experience 

  • Well-versed with ERP (Infor is a plus) and state-of-the-art IT tools 

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-changing environment and execute with urgency 

  • Excellent process and structuring skills and high level of dedication and resilience 

  • Accurate, and self-driven person with excellent high school and academic qualifications 

  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
