1. Responsibilities: 

 

  • Ownership of vehicle features from requirements to testing level 

  • Creating vehicle feature requirements based on high level feature list 

  • Handling component selection and development in accordance to defined requirements, communication with suppliers 

  • Feature and components integration on vehicle level, collaboration with other design areas system engineers 

  • Testing and debugging feature behaviour on component and vehicle level  

 

2. Main Tasks: 

 

  • Handling all types of electrical signals (analogue, digital) and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, ...) 

  • Managing control signals list for own components, collaboration with other system engineers during system development 

  • Collaboration with different department engineers (Powertrain, Body, Chassis, ...) with purpose of vehicle feature and controlling integration 

  • Creating features requirements 

  • Handling main vehicle electronic control units, power converters and accompanying sensors and actuators 

  •  Hardware and control integration withing legal automotive standards 

 

3. Requirements: 

 

  • Working experience in automotive industry, especially in electrical systems engineering 

  • Bachelor or higher degree in  Electrical / Software Engineering  

  • Very good understanding of electrical vehicle architecture, subsystems and functionalities (HV, LV distribution, communication protocols) 

  •  Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken) 

  • Highly expressed logical thinking 

 

4. Considered as an advantage: 

 

  • Familiarity with embedded software programming and tools 

  • Experience in developing and executing calibration procedures 

  • Experience in system integration, hardware and control 

  • Experience in QA and performance optimisation 

  • Familiarity with functional safety, cyber security
